No, you aren’t required to be present for the inspection.
- We dont have the authority to allow the buyer to enter the property. The inspector is authorised by the property owner and/or RE agent only for the purpose of inspection.
- There are OHS and legal/insurance issues. It is the inspectors workspace.
- The inspector has a defined routine and is solely focussed on the property. A distraction to the routine may impact the outcome of the inspection.
- Time constraints for the inspector.
